Founded in 1988 Garioch Indoor Bowling Centre is home to 5 rinks of indoor bowling as well as a members lounge, kitchen and (added in 2009) 6 lanes of 10 pin bowling, cafe and Children’s Play Zone.
The flourishing club plays in the Ladies, Gents and Senior Gents Scottish Leagues as well as entering representatives in all of the national competitions and we also offer social memberships for those who enjoy the sport but aren’t as keen on the competitive side.
Our spacious lounge is available to Members and Guests throughout the day and catering is available on a daily basis. The Lounge and bar are available for Functions but Non Members must apply more than 6 weeks in advance as special Licenses have to be requested.

In 2025, we proudly unveiled the Jason Banks Arena at Garioch Indoor Bowling Centre!
Surrounded by members, supporters, and Jason himself, we celebrated an unforgettable moment as our stadium was officially renamed in honour of Jason Banks’ incredible hat-trick of world titles at the 2025 World Indoor Bowls Championships.
Scotland’s Jason Banks heads the men’s ranking list for the first time following his phenomenal achievement in winning four of the World Bowls Tour’s events – Scottish International Open and Ambassador Cruise Line World Indoor Bowls Championships open singles, open pairs and mixed pairs at Potters Resort in Hopton-on-Sea.
The 28-year-old rockets from 24th place to the leader’s spot with 935 points – a commanding 151 points clear of his nearest rival the inaugural No 1 Aron Sherriff, of Australia, who is second on 781.
